SAIM Case Management

Continued support for follow-up or ongoing internal medicine cases—right where the patient is most comfortable.

This service is designed for patients who have already had a prior SAIM Teleconsultation with Dr. Benedict, or for those who have recently been evaluated by another board-certified small animal internist and are now being managed by their primary care veterinarian instead of continuing at a specialty or referral hospital.

Dr. Benedict will carefully review the patient’s updated medical records and any new diagnostics prior to a dedicated 15-minute video consultation with you. During the call, she will address your current questions and provide targeted recommendations to guide case progression, from adjustments to the treatment plan to new diagnostic considerations.

Each Follow-Up SAIM Teleconsultation Includes:

  • A 15-minute video call to review current case status and discuss next steps

  • A written review of the updated medical history

  • Interpretation of recent diagnostics

  • A focused clinical assessment based on available records and discussion

  • Recommendations for additional diagnostics as appropriate

  • Treatment and management guidance for ongoing care

  • Monitoring and follow-up suggestions to maintain case continuity

  • Updated prognostic information based on the current clinical picture

This follow-up consultation ensures that both the primary care team and the client continue to feel supported and confident in the care plan—bridging the gap between specialty medicine and everyday practice.

Consultation Fee: $150 per case, payable at the time of online booking.
